Hi, I’m Matt…
Financial Advisor, CFA, CFP®, Proud Husband & Dad
When I was 7 years old, I went to the bank for the first time to deposit my birthday money. The teller told me about Certificates of Deposit (CDs) that, given twelve months of patience, would magically turn my money into MORE money! That seemingly small lesson into the financial world sparked my passion for investing and making smart money moves and set me on the path to a career in finance.
Today, as a financial advisor, I use my passion to help others maneuver their own financial journeys, first and foremost with the understanding that money management can be a challenging and emotional subject for many. While I enjoy the research and analysis involved in the process, I find that the most rewarding part of my job is seeing my clients’ goals come to fruition and giving them peace of mind knowing that they are on a clear and steady path moving toward the future.
Part of my mission in life is to give back to my community. I’m an active member of several committees within the San Diego Rotary and am also a participant of LEAD San Diego, a nonpartisan leadership development program designed to further education on key regional issues, strengthen personal leadership skills, and establish community connections.
I live with my amazing wife and our wonderful son in San Diego.
When I’m not working, you might find me playing beach volleyball, doing woodworking projects, or reading the latest Jack Reacher novel.
